Under the Internet address www.kwb-stiftung.de we operate a website to provide information about our services for networking of foundations and aid organisations for charitable purposes.

Personal data

Personal data within the meaning of Art. 14(1) GDPR are particulars about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. These include information such as your name, your address, your phone number and your date of birth. Information that is not directly associated with your real identity – such as favourite websites or number of users of a site – does not constitute personal data.

Personal data is only collected, used and, if necessary, disclosed by us, if this is expressly permitted by law (such that there is an express statutory authorisation) or if you as a user consent to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of the data.

 

Server log files

When you visit our website, the browser you use on your device  sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in the log files of the server, which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the user. The data collected includes, inter alia:

  • Access status / HTTP / status code
  • so-called referrer URL (the page that you came from to our site – e.g. Google in the context of a search query)

Without this data it would technically not be possible to supply and present the contents of the website. Therefore, the collection of the data is absolutely necessary.

 

Contact form

When you fill out the contact form on our website, an email with this data will be generated and forwarded to us. As part of this process, the information you provide will first be stored in order to be able to answer your inquiry and ask possible follow-up questions. A deletion takes usually place at the latest 3 months after completion of the inquiry.

 

By filling out the contact form, personal data such as first name, last name, email address and connection data (e.g. IP address) are recorded to enable us to answer your inquiry correctly. If further data can be provided in addition to the mandatory data, such information is voluntary. Mandatory data fields are marked as such.

 

Use of cookies

We use cookies on our Internet website. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. Social networks

On our website a function (so-called Social Plugin) for accessing the social network Facebook and Instagram is integrated via a geographical representation. Via this graphical representation – a corresponding symbol for the respective social network – a link to the corresponding service is established. By clicking on the symbol, you will be redirected to the respective provider’s website. It is only then that your information may be transferred to the respective provider of the network. We do not have any influence on the collection and handling of your data by the operator of the social network.
