Hamburg Cruise Center HafenCity<\/strong> Guests can expect a program tailored to their needs. Anyone wishing to support the event and its diverse program with their own commitment as a volunteer is warmly invited to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DOCK2018 is for people who have to start their day with worries. Anyone can quickly find themselves in this situation, and hardship can suddenly become a daily reality. It is our community's responsibility to come together and strengthen those among us for whom a difficult daily life is a reality. Because every person counts, DOCK2018 opens its doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone who enters these doors is greeted. At Reception<\/strong> and at the wardrobe<\/strong> Guests will be greeted by friendly faces who will take their luggage and jackets and store them safely. Anyone who would like to help with tasks in the welcome area is welcome to get in touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scattered throughout the grounds are stations offering various activities: Those who bring hunger and thirst can eat their fill at the Food bar<\/strong> or the large Buffet<\/strong> Inside the center. More volunteers are needed to help prepare meals and drinks. In addition to the food service, activities will be offered in two areas. Donate<\/strong> Donations will be distributed: Toys will be available for young guests, and clothing, as well as personal care and hygiene items, can be selected according to everyday needs. Those with organizational skills can assist with the distribution of these donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An area for privacy Sanitary facilities<\/strong> Accessible toilets and showers are available. Professional hairdressers offer haircuts, barbers provide fresh beard trims and grooming, and a beauty station awaits women. Doctors are on-site to provide medical care and advice. Experienced volunteers are welcome to assist at this sanitary facility. The second focus of DOCK2018 was entertainment and community. A stage tent was set up in the heart of the event grounds, featuring artistic acts: numerous musicians, a presenter, and a DJ ensured a lively atmosphere throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Play area<\/strong> A bouncy castle, toys, and much more await the little guests for a day full of fun and excitement. The DOCK2018 playground is still looking for additional experienced educators and playmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There will be a station to care for the guests' animal companions: providing medical care. Veterinarians<\/strong> on, but also Food donations<\/strong> will be provided. If animal lovers would like to actively support the well-being of the animals, they are welcome to contact DOCK2018!<\/p>\n\n\n\n DOCK2018 aims to reach as many people as possible: both those to whom the invitation is addressed and potential volunteers.
