In the fall of 2021, the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation launched a campaign to highlight the issue of discrimination in connection with the upcoming event "Violence in Everyday Life." Missing person posters for eight different individuals were placed throughout Hamburg. A link on the flyers led interested readers to the project website, where, after two days, they could find the first clues to the resolution of the posters. Suddenly, it wasn't the people who were missing, but rather the individuals pictured who spoke about what they themselves were missing: equality, education, respect, compassion, courage, accessibility, empathy, and tolerance. Shortly afterward, excerpts from interviews with the campaign's featured individuals were published, and finally, the full interviews were released. The campaign undoubtedly achieved its desired level of attention, giving the issue of discrimination greater public prominence.
