The Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation is not only involved in its own and supported projects, but also contributes its values and principles to selected collaborations. A prime example is its sponsorship of the "Fairness & Courage" category at the "Hamburger of the Year 2017" awards ceremony.
This award stands for courage, humanity, and exemplary conduct – values closely linked to Walter Blüchert's life and which continue to shape the foundation's work today. As the sponsor of this category, the foundation was able to demonstrate at the celebratory gala in the Hotel Atlantic that courageous commitment in our society deserves recognition and support.
