Project funding

Providing effective help where help is needed

In keeping with the Blüchert family tradition, the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation focuses on directly supporting individuals. Organizations and institutions that align with the foundation's philosophy and Walter Blüchert's motto, and that provide direct assistance to people in need, are also eligible for support.

Primarily, every supported institution must pursue the goal of providing direct assistance to people.

Selection criteria

Non-profit organizations, associations, foundations, initiatives or social service providers that have recognized non-profit status and pursue the goal of providing direct help and support to people can apply for funding.

The decision regarding funding is made after careful examination of the submitted documents and within the limits of available funds.

There is no legal entitlement to funding.

Under our funding guidelines, we can support, among other things, personnel and material costs, expenses to ensure ongoing work, and measures for quality and organizational development.

The specific design and amount of funding will be individually reviewed in each case and will depend on the purpose of the funding, the need and the available resources.

Application process

Make an application:

Please submit your application by mail. Use the provided application form for institutional funding (see Downloads) and attach all required documents.
