My name is Mareike Engels, and I have been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2015, directly elected for constituency 3, Altona. Within the Green Party parliamentary group, I am the spokesperson for women and equality. I am also Vice President of the Hamburg Parliament and Chair of the Green Party's Altona district association. I hold a BA and MA in Sociology from the University of Hamburg and live in Hamburg-Altona with my husband and our two children.
