„Pen friendships“ – this charming play on words is the mission of the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation for those with lived experience who would like to exchange more information.
The foundation found people of all ages throughout Hamburg who were interested in connecting and exchanging ideas with someone with lived experience. They connected the generations and supported them in this exchange. This was possible via telephone or letter. A starter kit containing a pen, writing paper, envelope, and postage was provided for the pen pal relationships, so that absolutely everyone could begin.
After several months of implementation, it became clear that the target group currently has different needs, which is why this project has been temporarily suspended in order to restructure it. Further information can be found at: www.erfahrungstraeger.de
