The Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation dedicated its third major project in 2019 to the topic of "Everyday Violence." On Saturday, November 23, 2019, the first open information forum of this kind took place at the Museum of Hamburg History, free of charge for the citizens of Hamburg.
On Saturday, the foundation focused on various forms of everyday violence to inform people in Hamburg and Germany about prevention, acute care, and aftercare. The following eight topics were addressed in the lectures and discussion panels: forms of violence, domestic violence, violence in the digital age, violence in sports and leisure activities, violence in schools, violence in public spaces, workplace violence, and violence in care settings.
