The future speaker of the millennials
Since the age of 25, Tristan Horx has been a sought-after speaker on international stages. His presentations, delivered in both English (his native speaker) and German (also his native speaker), offer fresh perspectives on the processes of change and transformation in our time. His topics range from digitalization to mobility, generational perspectives to social change, and from questions of crisis psychology to the "angry optimism" that is so necessary in our era. Tristan comes from the Horx "Future Family," which has been exploring the future from ever-new perspectives for many years.
His motto: MAKE THE FUTURE GREAT AGAIN!
Tristan Horx has written several books, including "Meaning Maximization" and "The Future of Men." Since 2025, he has served on the sustainability advisory board of Commerzbank. He co-hosts the podcast "Future Questions – The Horx & Horx Podcast" with his father, Matthias Horx. He lectures on trend and future research at several universities, studied cultural anthropology, and has traveled extensively with his family to virtually every continent.
His focus is the future. Born just before the turn of the millennium, he belongs to the sought-after target group of so-called Millennials. Their interests and motivations put them at the center of many companies' attention when it comes to questions of social change, culture, and also new economic thinking. Growing up in what is probably Europe's most renowned family of futurists, Tristan experienced the clash of perspectives within the generational system from an early age, within a natural microcosm.
With his sensitive listening instincts and interest in future-oriented topics, he quickly grows into his role as an engaged conversationalist, speaker, and writer for Generation Y. He examines the topics of generational power, angry optimism, epochal change, and AI hype with humor and a visionary perspective.
Tristan Horx is known as a perceptive yet uncompromising conversationalist with the people he selects for his podcast series. As a speaker on international stages, he polarizes audiences in his native English or in German, stimulating critical discourse. As the author of numerous publications, he focuses on visionary scenarios within his range of topics.
Tristan Horx is also a lecturer at SRH University Heidelberg and Wieselburg University of Applied Sciences, and has been a columnist for the Kronen Zeitung newspaper since 2019. Whether addressing companies or individuals as members of a rapidly changing society, he always calls for the use of knowledge and the active shaping of the future.
