The Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation supports a project providing special bereavement support.
This year, the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation is supporting the work of the Hamburg Center for Children and Young People in Mourning. The non-profit association was founded in Hamburg in 2009 to support children and young people in processing and coping with a tragic loss.
To enable adolescents to address the emotional challenges of loss or anxiety experiences with trained, pastoral support, the Hamburg Center for Children and Young People in Mourning e. V. founded. The children can receive support from the association for as long as it helps them cope on their own.
The current expansion and intensification of grief counseling methods requires support, which the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation provides year-round. The foundation supports the association to enable this important work of providing direct assistance to children and young people.
For young people, the loss of an important person occurs during a time already characterized by uncertainty, turmoil, and a search for direction. One of these institutions is the Hamburg Center for Children and Young People in Mourning. The foundation also implements its own projects to initiate sustainable support. These include... DOCK2018 – A day without worries, The foundation supports the community and people in need in Hamburg.
