No more talk. Let's get to work! Under this motto, representatives from foundations, aid organizations, and companies met on June 2, 2018, to engage in an intensive and productive dialogue. They gathered in a relaxed atmosphere on the deck of a former lightship and one of Europe's largest sailing ships – the "Atlantis" – as they sailed through the countryside around Hamburg.
The event aimed to provide charitable organizations with a platform for discussion and collaboration, fostering future projects and partnerships. While participants cooked together and strengthened their networks on land, teams formed naturally, sealing new and lasting collaborations with a traditional Hanseatic handshake at the end of an eventful day. The Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation will support these partnerships individually and regularly bring them together for further exchange.
