WE WANT: NO TALK. LET'S GET TO TAKING ACTION!

"No more talk. Let's get to work!" is an event organized by the Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation, which aims to strengthen direct collaboration between associations, foundations, and businesses. Participants can expect a structured day program as they sail through the Hamburg area.

On Saturday, June 2, 2018, a special event will take place in Hamburg: No more talk, just action! What makes this event so extraordinary is not only the choice of location – a sailing trip on the "Atlantis" – but also the (good) cause to which the participants are invited. The guests represent institutions with a focus on charitable work; their specific approaches complement each other. How does it work? Half of the guest list represents associations from Hamburg with diverse charitable focuses, such as supporting children and young people, providing medical care for people in need, offering counseling and assistance to women in difficult or dangerous situations, and providing care and support for senior citizens. Each association brings its own project or concept to present. The audience and contacts are institutions that directly support charitable work, such as foundations and companies with the capacity for charitable funding. Their representatives make up the other half of the guest list and can learn about projects they would like to support on the "Atlantis.".

For associations and organizations providing direct aid, daily work becomes particularly challenging when their projects require broader cooperation or funding. Planning and implementation of actions and projects often fail or are slowed down because bureaucratic hurdles exceed available resources or because a direct line to a foundation as a potential partner is lacking. ANPACKEN aims to address these problems by creating a space for direct and sustainable exchange among all stakeholders in the charitable sector. Through collaboration between associations and volunteers, foundations, and companies with a charitable mission, the social community in Hamburg can grow even stronger in the future.

Let's get to work!

ANPACKEN lays the foundation with intensive discussions and the forging of partnerships through personal encounters. These take place in the morning, when guests enjoy breakfast on the "Atlantis" in a relaxed atmosphere. Chat; ...to get to know each other and each other's work. After a substantial meal and a break with shore leave, the ship sets sail again: At Get to work In the afternoon, smaller groups form among the guests, allowing them to find common ground and points of contact regarding their charitable goals. These discussions can be moderated upon request. This provides support Stop talking. Let's get to work! current or future charitable projects.

The event includes a program designed to support networking among guests and create a pleasant atmosphere. Afterwards, guests are warmly invited to spend the rest of the day together and discuss future projects, encounters, and collaborations.

Through Stop talking. Let's get to work! would like to Karin and Walter Blüchert Memorial Foundation to contribute to networking within the charitable sector.
